Currently Open Tickets In New Status shows all your current open tickets that have not been touched by your team.  This is a key metric to be monitoring regularly to make sure your team is responding in a timely manner.  Additionally, it’s a great indicator if something big has happened at a customer site if multiple people are reporting the same issue.  And with our new dashboard release you can have this metric up on your wall and let the entire team monitor the gauge.

As with all of our gauges, the important thing is not only to understand the number but also what is driving the data.  Click on the gauge itself and it will bring up the detailed data for you to do a deep dive:
